This book was written with a deep awareness of the persistent challenges faced by educators in fostering reading comprehension, especially among English language learners. In response, this book introduces an innovative and integrative instructional approach designed to support students not only cognitively, but also emotionally and psychologically.

Reading is more than a mechanical or passive act of decoding words; it is a complex process involving interpretation, connection, and critical thinking. However, in many classrooms, reading instruction is still delivered in traditional ways that fail to engage students or activate deeper levels of understanding. This gap inspired the exploration of a method that incorporates both scientific understanding of learning and subconscious reinforcement: Hypnoteaching.

This book is organized into several key sections. It begins with an explanation of the background and rationale for implementing hypnoteaching in reading instruction, followed by an overview of previous studies and related research findings. Readers are then introduced to the concept of reading as a multidimensional skill that can be cultivated through holistic strategies. The following sections elaborate on the definition, principles, and step-by-step processes of the Hypnoteaching method, and how these elements can be effectively applied in reading classrooms. The final unit explores the concept of enriching the brain through reading, presenting insights into how consistent, meaningful reading activities stimulate cognitive development and emotional resilience.

The main goal of this book is to provide readers particularly teachers, researchers, and education students with a conceptual and practical foundation for using hypnoteaching to enhance learners’ reading skills. It is also intended as a stimulus for further academic inquiry and classroom experimentation. The integration of psychology and pedagogy in this work reflects the belief that impactful teaching is not merely about content delivery, but about understanding the mental and emotional landscapes of learners.
