This chapter examines how educational technology is revolutionising modern teaching and learning methods. New pedagogical options that promote more flexible, interactive, and learner-centered education are made possible by the ongoing evolution of digital advances. This chapter examines a variety of technological tools and platforms, emphasising their impact on teaching strategies and student engagement. These include learning management systems, virtual learning environments, interactive simulations, and AI-based educational apps.
Teachers may design inclusive, flexible, and customised learning environments that cater to the various needs and learning styles of their students by integrating educational technology. In order to make learning more dynamic and goal-oriented, the chapter emphasises how digital technologies like gamified tests, real-time statistics, and collaborative platforms encourage critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork.
The chapter also critically examines the promise and difficulties of integrating technology into the classroom, including concerns about infrastructure, digital equity, and teacher professional development. It highlights that in order to fully utilise educational technologies, institutional support and strategic implementation are required.
